I have an M3 also and 997 but my 997 is (currently wrapped for the summer) the 997 is black.
I disagree though I love the e46 shape and style, I really dislike the E92.
Both great cars.

It is but he had chrome wheels? Tell him he owns me some money to change them out. I changed a few things to my taste.

Hahaha I agree with you. He had a really nice set of HRE wheels then he sold them and got new bling bling chrome wheels right before he traded it in.

 

Did they fixed some issues with 05 model?

 

They hammered out the 05 tuning and on 1 or 2 it was those cars specifically. Cam timing or something . . . They have 10+ other 05s running with zero issues. Soon to be a another! We are also doing the 160 stat, stud conversion, and Halon fire ext mount.

 

So far so good, I've done a few 200 miles trips and stepped on it quite a bit on the highway, it's addicting. I drove it to Pike's Peak int'l Raceway for the Porsche Driving Experience. Wished I could had ran my car but still fun driving what Porsche brought which was the C2S, C4S, Cayenne S, Panamera turbo, Cayman S, and Cayman R. I'll start a thread about this later. You will love your new turbo.

I heard about the HRE's, yeah that is the first thing I changed. The bling bling had to go. I pretty much gave it away.

 

BMW killed the M3. That model is so much nicer
