987/997 Bulb Models...Help!

Hey All,

Just got my boxster (sorry for posting here as the 987 forum is a little slower) and am looking into switching the bulbs on the side marker as well as the fog lights. Also figure the bulbs should be similar for the 987 and 997's.

Looked in my owner's manual and noted the bulb models are listed as follows:

Fog Light: H8 (35w)

Side Marker Light: W3W

Is this accurate? I know in the 996's the fog lights were H3 and side markers were W5W's.

Are they truly different? Also, anyone know where I can pick these bulbs up? Powerbulbs.com doesn't have the above models apparently.

TIA!!!

- Mike

Follow the manual, they will never give you the wrong size That is odd though, its 5W for marker on the Cayenne

Any idea where I can pick these bulbs up ? Seems like they aren't as readily available as the other sizes...
