Difference between 2007 and 2008 911 Carrera

I am considering a 2007 or 2008 911 Carrera. Wondering if anyone can give me any insights into what differences I should be aware of between the two years.

Thanks
John

2006-2008 are all basically the same. 2009 is when major changes were introduced to the 997. I ended up going for a low mileage 2006.

2007 + 12 mo. = 2008

They are both a 997.1, the 997.2 update is the current release (2009+).

Save the money and get the 2007. A 2006 would be even better if it has the options and miles you are looking for.

there were midyear changes, for instance 2007 has TPMS standard whereas 2006 did not.

^Yes, TPMS is a cost option on a 2006 and became standard on 2007 onwards. So, if you get a 2006 car with TPMS, as I do, then the car is identical all through the 2008 model year. As others have said, a 2006 car is a great value for money.
