Automobile Magazine: Deep Dive: Porsche 911 Clubsport, Targa, and Speedster

Just saw this on Automobile's website:

http://www.automobilemag.com/features/news/1107_porsche_911_clubsport_targa_and_speedster_dee p_dive/index.html?

We've seen rumors regarding the return of a True Targa, but adding fuel to the fire with speak of a Clubsport/CS, Speedster (lightweight & cruiser models), and Turbo-look for NA Carreras.

I'd not call them 'true Targa', but 'classic look Targa'.

Your link doesn't point to the article, by the way.

I'm especially curious to see what the clubsport ultimately tips the scales at, and whether it will be a true track car. But I'm also still very disappointed in the hp figures we're looking at in the 991's. Given what's offered already in the GTS, RS4.0, GT3 etc. I think 400hp in the S is lame and 350hp in the base is a non-starter.

BTW, I read on one of the car sites recently that the prospective mid-engine supercar (sub 918, supra 911) is getting closer to greenlit but will be offered at around $400k Euros. So much for considering that...
