Thanks, so its the same as the FVD Cat-back. If they have the same size tubing, I wonder what makes FVD sound throatier/deeper? Is it the X pipe design, compared to the crossover pipe of Tubi, or maybe different muffler materials?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but as I understand the Tubi Cat-back exhaust should bolt up to the FVD Header/Cat system without too much trouble, since both were designed to "bolt on" to the factory exhaust?

I believe it's the X-pipe design of TUBI and FVD. Akrapovic have similar design of X-pipe with FVD and they sound deep rather than high pitch sound.

I wonder if the X pipe design also contributed to higher HP gain over Tubi?

BTW, that Akrapovic exhaust is insane! But I wouldn't want to know the cost of it.

+1 for Cargraphic

Akrapovic is cheaper than Innotech. I must say that Innotech HP gain is small only 20 HP with full system muffler and header changed.

Out of the many video clips I've reviewed of aftermarket exhaust systems: these systems stand out to me as what I want to hear in a N/A 911 (in no particular order):

FVD
AWE
Innotech
Akrapovic
Tubi

I'm not rating them in order, because personal preference is just that.... individual budget notwithstanding. I own none of these. It must be said that I want my Porsche to sound GERMAN, not Italian; but the Tubi DOES sound good on the Porsche!

In all this, there just to my ears is nothing as mechanically glorious & sonically distinct sounding as a N/A flat 6.

Why is that? I thought the Akrapovic exhaust is full titanium?

Agreed, I don't really care if it sounds German or Italian as long as it brings out the glorious N/A flat 6 sound!
