Oh man... I am so on the fence on a SC kit. I know I want it and want the power but just like you said I don't track my car and in its stock form the car is still quite beastly for the streets. I'm afraid once I get the kit I will have a buyers remorse for wasting money on something I didn't need...

I do agree with you all regarding the splash guard. I'm gonna see if the guy can cut it down a bit. However, I questioned the function if its not high to prevent chips from happening. I guess worst case, I can just removed the damm thing and put the 3M clears back on for protection. Saving $$ for a possible Turbo or Supercharge kit so no new wheels but multiple spokes would look nice. Just trying to rationale the need for kit since I don't track the car (for now). I guess more power is always better..LOL

it's a never ending battle between our passion/hobby and our wallet. There's an active thread currently about SC vs Turbo that I'm following. All very good info. I just checked out the TPC video and wow...the sound and speed is making me drool. What is even more crappy for me is that Evolution Motorsports (EVO) is in my area!! Damm them!!!

no offense to OP, but the black wrapped bonnet feels rice to me...

reminds me of those honda civics that used to paint their hoods black for that CF look

Hehehe, I don't think you can have buyer's remorse with an F/I kit. You don't need to track your car to truly appreciate the usability of the power the kit provides. It's evident in your every day routine, such as merging onto to the freeway, overtaking traffic, weekend jaunts in the back country road, etc. You don't have to take it to redline to appreciate the available power. The power is evident from 3000 rpm onward! It just puts a big grin every time you pass the 3000 rpm mark .

Splash guards

I put the splash guards on my car also. Because we have side skirts, they need to be cut down a little. Also need to leave some space between wheel opening.

Thanks for the tip! I'm gonna redo the splash guard soon. It's actually annoying me now.. Since it's not a true splash guard (meaning just matte vinyl), I was even considering removing it and just going back to the clear 3M protective cover on it.

I would do the splash guard again, but this time place it correctly. The black splash guards tie the black theme nicely towards the back of the car.

Thumbs up 'slightly OT

hey coco0045, nice, I like it!

Off topic - the rear wing you have, who makes that one? Any more shots of it?? (thinking it looks a lot like like the one I have had sitting in the garage for the last year)

thanks
