my left side marker bulb has been acting up. When i first put my light on i get a message to check bulb. I can see its out. However after driving around for a whilr the message disappears and the light goes back on. Does this mean the bulb is on the way out? Or a possible short? i guess i can try to repace the bulb first and see what happens. BTW is it difficult to replace the bulb? Acccording the the manual its seems that all i have to do is to remove on screw bt the wheel housing and the marker should pop out? TIA

 

It's simple to change out the bulb. I had one go out as well. There is a plug in the fenderwell that you need to pop out and then stick a screwdriver into the hole to pop the side marker out. The plug is found right behind the side marker area. Once out, you should then be able to change the bulb.

 

Yep, super easy to change a bulb, and the part can be found at your local auto parts store. No fancy Porsche bulb for $75 necessary

 

I changed my side marker on first day. I already bought it and had it ready before the delivery. I added LED bulb...think I paid around 20 on ebay. I love it. It has 8 LED lights...it goes perfect w/ my daylight LED in the front fog.
