The wheel needs to be shipped to Champion for the swap. It does take time to get used to if you have larger hands. The space between the control stalks and the paddles is pretty limited.

It was a right decision to take the P-car to work yesterday. I was able to do some high rpm driving (albeit slow in 1st and 2nd gear) to appreciate the sound of the Cargraphic mufflers. These are the TUV version of the valvetronic mufflers (since I'm not a big fan of crazy loud exhaust), but still these pack quite a punch in terms of sounds, especially driving through the Mount Baker tunnel on I-90. Can't wait to finish the install with the sport headers + cats, and x-pipe with GT3 style exhaust conversion.

Beautiful, enjoy your car.

With the rear seat delete, can you now get rid of the bracket & bolt that once secured the rear seat in the upright position?

Nah, you'd have buy new interior panels to delete that.

A foggy morning in Bellevue

Stopped by an empty parking lot on my way to breakfast and took some quick shots. It was awfully foggy so quality was only so-so.

One of the best 997.2 interior mods I have seen. You need new wheels though?

K-E-V Nov 6, 2011 02:09 PM

Have a set of P40S in storage for next spring, shopping for winter wheels at the moment.

Wow, car looks amazing! Great detail accents too!

Nice KEV. Car looks pristine. We should get together for a photoshoot with both the C4S's lined up side by side sometime.

Sure, I'll have the GT3 conversion done soon :)

Time for a new signature pic Kev! Nice work on the mods - I've enjoyed the process. Thanks for posting! After the GT3 conversion, I'd love to see a list of the mods and parts along with your sources. I'm sure the sponsors would love the exposure and it will save the rest of us from doing the research again.

Looking forward to seeing your car live at the Redmond meet.
Greg
