My first Porsche - 911 C4S
I found an '09 CPO C4S with 15k miles on the clock down in SoCal. Once we finalized the paper work last, I was able to find an enclosed trailer to take it up here to Seattle. I just picked her up today. Other than the 2 small dings on the pax side, everything else is perfect. Here are couple pics:
Filling her up after pick up, R front tire was also low on pressure, so pumped a couple pounds of air into that too http://997c4s.kevinluk.com/img/pickup000.jpg Resting in the garage waiting for license plate and registration to come in the mail. http://997c4s.kevinluk.com/img/pickup001.jpg http://997c4s.kevinluk.com/img/pickup002.jpg http://997c4s.kevinluk.com/img/pickup003.jpg http://997c4s.kevinluk.com/img/pickup004.jpg http://997c4s.kevinluk.com/img/pickup005.jpg http://997c4s.kevinluk.com/img/pickup006.jpg http://997c4s.kevinluk.com/img/pickup007.jpg |

Actually ordered some mods for the P-car already. Since there are so many options to play with I think I'll have fun tweaking every little aspect of the car for the next few years. This will keep my automotive OCD at bay.
I've ordered the following stuff already: CF light switch surround / ignition rosette CF door latch pull silver hood crest clear LED tail lamps GT2 side skirts 911 emblem multifunction steering wheel kit (2011+ style, black center) rear seat / seat belt delete kit front red seat belts carbon seat belt outlet trim Techart lowering springs Porsche Sports Exhaust |
very nice.........btw mike....u being a good little boy latelyhilarious
Beautiful. Congrats. That must have been a nice drive back up to Seattle.
Looks good, I've got the same trim/color/wheels on a '10.
Looking sharp, congrats!
While you're at it, call the guys at SharkWerks and get the Center Exhaust Bypass. It is a PERFECT addition to the 997, and even better on a PSE-equipped car.
BTW: she's beautiful. Good pickup & congrats!

A man with a plan...and a good one at that. I'll be on the lookout to see how your updates are progressing. Sounds HOT.
Nice whip. I <3 the rims.
Sweet ride, dude. Congrats.
Gotta love the fat arse....... enjoy!
Fab car! And going to be even better with those mods! Good luck and many miles of Porsche motoring.
Congrats, it's nice and wide just the way I like it.
That's a bad motor scooter! Nice!
Congrats on the nice 4s. I am also here in the NW and I encourage U to join the local PCA club for fun events. I am taking my 4s to my 4th Porsche club DE event at Pacific Raceways this sat. Come on down to meet fellow P car drivers and check out their mods and having big fun driving on the track.
Congrats, do u mind if I ask how much u paid? I also recently purchased a 09 C4S
Lekker car boet! You are going to love the 911 emblem. Got one too. Enjoy the car and drive safe.
Congrats on a fine acquisition! Hope that your garage is secured in some manner. Now all you need is a bunch of old tires to hang around the outside like a tugboat to protect it from door-slammers when it's parked in the garage!

Update: received a couple bins of parts from Sharkwerks (Techart springs by Eibach), Suncoast (GT2 side skirts, clear rear LED tails), and Rennline (pedals). Waiting for my PSE to arrive from Suncoast, then I'll proceed with installing everything! |
any interior pics?
Congrats and welcome to the club :) |
Really love the rear view, as always!
Nice future mod. Would love to see it in person when you join us @ E@RTC.

Thanks. I'm still in residency so it's hard for me to make plans ahead ;) I'll try to make it to local events or meets though.
Congrats on the car-very nice! Man, residency pay must have gone up! I remember scraping up cash to buy a toyota corolla hilarious |

Finally had time to do the first mod of the car. I installed the MACarbon black CF door latch pull today. Pics to follow tomorrow. The finish of the carbon is great. Fitment is perfect, and it took me less than 90 seconds per side to install.
Seriously, 90 seconds a side. It's held in place by one T15 bolt!
One of these days we should get together as we r both in the NW and new 911 owners (I've had mine since May). I'd like to see what mods u do and how ur car evolves:)
