any advise/product on how to get back the mirror finish on 997 turbo wheels?

Simple, I would clay them, use a cleaner, then polish them after that. Remember, treat them like paint, because they have a clear coat on them, don't use anything harsh, you will take the finish off them! Also go on the detail section of this forum and ask the pros what they would do, Moe, Phil, and the other great guys will give you the best advice! Good Luck, I will post a pic of mine I'm almost done detailing her.

Btw, I use Zymol on the car and the wheels.

use a light rubbing compound and if you want to do it by machine, get a fluffy wool ball on a shaft and put it on a drill or air die grinder , you can find the buffing ***** at harbor freight or sears, etc
