Recent E-Brake, Porsche email news letter, has an article about their new chairman's lack of interest in F1. Last year he hinted they may be interested, now they're not. He used the phrases " not interesting" and "simply too expensive ". Or maybe it's because they are not competetive in F1.

Not sure the new guy is doing Porsche any favors when he speaks his mind. Porsche's racing heritage seems to be becoming a thing of the past. Future plans are geared toward endurance racing. Fun to watch if you have 24 hours to kill. Kind of like a football game where the last man standing wins the game.
In the past Porsche was all about racing anywhere and anyone. Now their main focus seems to be increasing sales. Sounds like they are looking to become more like Ford than Ferrari.
