Hey guys,

Been a longtime lurker...and finally got my first porsche a few weeks ago. Got the 987 boxster..was never a big fan of the previous model, but this one just feels completely different!

Anyhow, here are some pics my brother took over the weekend...

Thanks for the nice words guys. I know it's not a 997, but figured this board got a lot more traffic than the boxster board which seems less populated.

Pics were taken in Half Moon Bay..good eye !!

And my bro took these pics...he's definitely a great photographer and has done some photo work for some car shops locally, etc. He's a fan of porsches, so if you local guys are interested, I'm sure he'd be interested.

Let's give the guy a break - he's proud of his new car - and rightfully so! Plus, do any of you ever read the Boxster forum? And , if he put hadn't mentioned "Boxster" in the thread title, I may have confused it with a CGT!

if people from the 997 board aren't interested in visiting the boxster forum, isn't that why seperate forums were created (so as not to waste the time of those who aren't interested in reading about cars they don't own or have interest in?). why not just get rid of all the seperate forums and have one called "porsche" then?

 

Because that insane level of awesomeness in one forum would easily crash the entire Internet.

 

He clearly posted the thread was Boxster related in the title. If you or someone else wasn't interested in the thread, then you didn't have to read it. I agree that he should have posted in the proper section; however, "people in glass houses should not throw stones." I remember two threads you recently initiated in the TT forum; one concerning an Autoweek poll about exotic cars and another about a CGT article, both of which were both unrelated to TTs. Lighten up, it happens all the time. The guy's just excited about his new car. Just like Robert's excited about his new Lambo - and I know I didn't read about it in the Lambo forum.
