Does anyone know a way to repair this. My rear wheel arch is really messed up from the little rocks on the road?

 

yes, it has to be painted

 

The whole bumper or just arches dyi sand and spray job?

 

when I get a car that has that, I just lightly sand the lip and paint it , then buff the outer body off to get rid of the overspray, the inner lip doesnt show enough to be able to tell it was repaired. It just hides the rock chips. I also cut out strips of clear bra material and cover the inner lips so it prevents the chipping

 

Do you paint this by hand or can I respray with a can and then spray clear clearcoat? Thanks

 

either way you can get a color to match. Just dot with a brush would probibly be best. I wouldnt bother clearing if I was going to put clear bra material over it.

 

here is pic of the rear bumper edge with clear bra. its hard to see. I can barely find it much less get a pic. it goes from all the way inside lip to outer crease on the bumper, and on the rears I went all the way up to the top on the ridge. On the fronts I just cut it about 6 to 8 " because there is no good ridge.
This pretty much eliminates most rock chipping.
