Help - Peninsula / South Bay Body Shop
Help - Peninsula / South Bay Body Shop
Thankfully, it's not for my Targa, but for the other black, late model German car in the family, my Wife's Audi A5. The damage is relatively minor - left front quarter panel needs R&R, and who knows what else. Also, thankfully, nobody was hurt and it wasn't her fault.
Anyway, we're in Atherton / Menlo Park. Can anybody recommend a body shop in the general area?
Thanks,
-JD

Call Luis. He will fix your wife's car in your own house. Minor work can be done in a day or two. He works on exotics too. Tell him the orange Lambo guy sent you.

Thanks for the recommendations. Unfortunately, the front left quarter panel needs serious work, so it's serious enough to need at least a few days in a shop and a paint booth. Good to know about Luis though - sounds like a great answer to the scrapes and scratches that are too big to touch up myself.

This certification process is expensive and there are not many authorized shops. However, there are many body shops that will put Audi on the side of their shop vehicles along with BMW, Mercedes, and so on...
My vague recollection is when this came up once before there are just a few shops in the bay area that are truely qualified to work on Audis.
Check with your local Audi dealer and ask if it can recommend a truely certified body shop to work on Audis.
Visit the shop and ask the shop to show the certificate. Note the date on the certificate.
Or call Audi customer service and see if you can get any leads on any qualified shops in your area or if you have one ask if customer service can verify the shop is indeed certified.
Oh, I just remembed that when another person was looking for a Audi body shop he did an online search and located an Audi certified shop.
Sincerely,
Macster.
Thanks Tony!

he can repair major dents (grape fruit size) large cracks. this is not a fly by night outfit.
