997.1 Carrera S
Congrats, and good to see you are going to tighten the nut behind the steering wheel.
I've done two of the programs at Barber - highly recommended. Even better if you do yours at Barber and draw a session with Mr Haywood.

me + p-car + putzing along at normal speeds = no issues
me + p-car + high stress + high speeds = very dangerous situation
me + p-car + Skip Barber = 7time F1 Champion

err just kidding...
Already on order bro! along with the front and rear LED's. Other than that no other mods, as I am saving every penny for the racing course... I also figured out what lobster forks are, however, I really like the carrera classic/turbo look wheels. I'll probably get some black turbo rims for track duty when that time comes...

Thanks for the words... I'm a decent driver, ride bikes too but this is a whole other world. The Farfevnoogan factor with this car is ridicumalous. I'd rather spend a few grand on improving the worst variable in this equation: me

They won't turn you into a Schumacher, but you'll definitely have better control of the car, more confidence in yourself as a driver, and have a blast while doing it all.The best thing about the driver mod is it transfers to any vehicle you drive.
Which course are you looking at? I did the three day Racing program with the MX-5 Cup cars for my first one, as it seemed more applicable to street cars than the Formula Barber cars. That was last year - last month I went back out and did the advanced car control course (I had a very nice discount offer), and for a portion of the course we ran in the formula cars. That made me regret not doing the Formula cars for the 3-day, just because the car is such a blast to drive compared to the Miata.
Sorry for the thread jack.

Also thanks to all of the other kind comments!
I believe lip is ball polished, and the "spokes" are painted... Unique to say the least.
