Escort Live?

Does anyone have experience with this yet? Seems as though it will be kind of great, and I know it's just now shipping, but curious if anybody has an early version and has had time to mess around with it.

If you don't know about it, the basic idea is connecting a bunch of Escort Radar / Laser detectors together and pushing the results back out via an iPhone / Android app. Unlike other social media apps for such things, it seems as though the job of notifying the network of a new / live threat is handled by the unit automatically.

I imagine that at some point, they (Escort) would be able to sell the app / subscription as a stand-alone thing. Anyway, seems promising and when it's available on the 9500CI, will likely be the combination that pushes my V1 to eBay.

(FWIW, i'm not intending to start another holy war thread about which detector is best, why I'm an idiot or hero for thinking about kicking my V1 to the curb, etc...)

It hasn't been released yet. I have a friend in OH that got to play with it, courtesy of Escort, and praised it.

Thanks for the info. I thought it was available with a new unit, but not yet available as an add-on. And thanks for the PM link!
