Or maybe the 'wrong' circumstances. I don't track my car, but I also don't baby it (I don't abuse it, either). I guess the 70+ days of back-to-back 95+ degree temps we experienced this past summer may not qualify as a 'hot climate', but I damned sure don't want to live where it gets any hotter.

Perhaps for those who do track-day their cars, PC'ing the tips may not be the way to go. However for me they're just what I was looking for, at a $500 savings.
