ROTtec LED's, Dectane DRL Module & Battery charger

ROTtec front LED's with DECTANE DRL module works great. The DRL module is hooked up to run the LED fog lights, when the car is turned off, the key removed, the fog lights stay illuminated for 5 seconds or so, kinda cool feature.
Today, hooked up the car to the CTEK battery charger (Porsche charger without the Porsche logo, $60 cheaper) through the cigar lighter as always, the fogs started to flash every 10 seconds or so. My guess is the charger is somehow is sending an impulse to the DRL module causing the lights to flash. Disconnected the charger; all is dark in garage
