hey folks,

hope you can help. i'm stuck on the part where i'm supposed to remove the factory light module. it is stuck halfway out and won't come fully out and i pulled and twisted pretty hard, but don't want to break anything...

I followed instructions and unscrewed the screw halfway (tab side). I pulled the tab in and pulled down on the screw to release the module.

However, the other side won't come down and i don't see any tabs. i pulled and twisted hard, now it's stuck. i did remove both screws at this point... pics below. any advice on getting this removed is greatly appreciated.
I plan to do a write up with pics to help those in the future avoid this. i've read this was an easy install, so apparently i'm doing something wrong...

 

nevermind. i ended up using utility knife to leverage the other side and pry it out. fortunately i didn't damage anything, but it wasn't a simple pop out...
