Quick question, reading some feedback on this item and notice a lot of people rave this as a must-have for cabriolet owners.

Looking at some of the capabilities, it has the function whereby when in reverse, the passenger side mirror will tilt downwards. Is this true? I thought this function is only available for cars with memory seats. If my car does not have memory seats and i install SmartTop, would this function still work?

Yes it does have this function. I believe (you will have to verify) that it does work with any car as when I set it up you have to effectively choose between the porsche memory seat mode and the smart top mode. I have memory seats thus have not verified it works in that config.

Good mod, install was easy.

Send smart top folks an e-mail I suspect they will help.

u do not need a memory seat.

& smartcab is a great mod for a cab

 

I had it on my cab and loved it for Texas summers where you could lower the top from afar to let the heat out prior to getting in the car. +1 on this mod.

 

also:

the alarm beeps when u turn it on/off

the remote button for frunk has a delay

makes it easier to operate front & rear windows

and top open/closes with one touch

in other words, the way it should have came from factory..
