question for 997.2

Does anyone knows if bumper removal is required to install Fabspeed muffler bypass? This would delete the two large ones on each side. Any info would be appreciated.

OKB is infamous around these parts
no you dont have to take the bumper off.
theres several different muffler bypasses, check fabspeed to see which one you want

Awesome! Thanks OKB. I am having it installed tomorrow so if I see the mechanic starts to take off the bumper then I'll know something's up. Not sure how it will sound but can't wait.

Also looking to add a wing. Anyone have any suggestions whether I should select the type that replaces the whole deck lid or just the bolt on piece that replaces the elevated wing?

Hi Slick911, it will be an easy replacement of the 2ndary mufflers and you will not need to remove the bumper. Just two 13mm nuts on the front and rear bracket and loosening the sleeve clamp and they will drop right out. Goodluck with the installation and let us know what you think. It should have an aggressive sound but wont be too loud if the primary center mufflers is still on.
Thanks and enjoy,

Not sure what happened but I got to the shop this morning and the mechanic said he ordered the wrong parts. Seems like an honest mistake. We got the primary Xpipe instead of the secondary bypass pipes. Long story short. We settled on a price and got the Xpipes installed instead. Looks and sounds *****in'. See pic. Did it for the sound and not the horses but the extra horses wouldn't hurt, I guess.
