Davidham is infamous around these parts
Are the sensors on the tires themselves? Is it the stem? I feel like the guy on Lost, who had to punch the button or the island would blow up!!!!

Sensor/transmitter is attached to the valve stem inside the tire. Each wheel well
Has a receiver. Looks like this.

TPMS sensors--- what a PAIN!!!!

The sensor is part of the valve stem-- it's all one assembly that is "potted" in resin with a few holes for the air pressure and transmitter to leak through. I heavily examined mine when I took them all out and had them replaced with simple metal valve stems because I was trying to figure out how to cut them up and replace the batteries-- but it looks too complicated to even try... I just had an indy mechanic disable the warning and I'm running without them. I'm not gonna pay $400+ for them when I meticulously check my air pressure anyway. Has worked fine for 6 months.

2006 c2s.
