For those of you who.......

Converted there front and rear bumpers to 997.2, any advice? Did you remove the lights? Wheels/Tires? Any tips?
Btw, I have Artic Silver bumpers/tailamps/foglamps if anyone is interested in them, pm me. The bumpers are in mint condition, front is wrapped in Xpel.

Thanks,

Joe

Anytime you remove the front 'bumper' you need to remove the headlights to gain access to a fastening slide the locks in the 'bumper'. You'll also need to remove the front wheels to gain access to the fender liners that also need to removed. I find putting the front end on jack stands the best way.

I've never done the rear bumper myself. I will say it appears to be less 'complicated' then the front bumper in terms of removal.

Do a search on the various Porsche forums using 'bumper removal' as a keyword(s). You'll find plenty of tips and hints.
