Is it right the total cost for new engine with labor charging is approx 12,000 $us in porsche dealer.

Thanks
That is a very good price imo. Is Porsche paying for any of this or is that the total? Never seen price below 16-20k $. What am I missing?

Indeed! Full forensics analysis of the situation is needed. Let's get the full story.

Given what little we know about the way you drive, short of you like to red line it in every gear, perhaps you should salvage your motor and put in high end rods (carillio or pauter), big gaskets, strengthened head bolts and better bearings. You should also consider modified cams and cranks........but most of all, unless none of this bothers you, you might consider how you drive it.......A new motor isn't going to last either......best.

Note: I never take the vehicle to the dealer for new update software.

Really its pain Steamboat especially the firest day.
Of course naw i feel better especially when they say it's available one engine in germany, before the discount will cost 14,000$USD

I wrote all these small details, because I really do not want anyone to face what i faced,

But there's one thing guys you don't think the extra torque is the second reason for this problems, you can imagine 345Hp 997.2 how can i passing the Modified HSV CR8 6.2 LS3 6 Speed Manual becouse the stock one is 425hp what about the one in the video.

because somebody say if anybody increased the horsepower more than 150+ in the stoke Turbo engine also will facing a problems.

Thank you so much Steamboat

And have no doubt, there's a line. And when crossed (even for a split second) ... BAAM!

I know it's a big mistake when i ignore the software update, but we have careless people on dealer workshop, and a lot of people have no idea how to drive the manual transmission,
thats way i don't like to take my vehicle to the dealer workshop, evan if the repair is free.
Thank you

Supposed to use a modified cheap vehicle, but police disturbing us I was trying to enjoy with my car and this type of cars in our country even if it had a modifying i will not git a harassment from the police, but you are right everything has a limit.

The big difference is came from the wing because it's forcing the air into the intake, i think you wrote that in GT3 Rs 2010+ reports.
(I driving the vehicle without the grill on that wing) this thing giving the engine more power.
The wing is from FVD.
That video before the bypass, only i used Dynotap Tablet octane booster, Sharkwerks Primary Muffler Bypass, removed the RS top wing and grill + H&R lowering spring front and rear is 1.2 inches or 30mm. (it was too scary) becouse i I felt the unstable vehicle.

The second big difference also is came from the bypass i make to using GT3 bumper, its direct from the cat's to mufflers

Note: stock mufflers and cats

The sound is increased a little bit but really it's amazing and not annoying.

Thank you

The question is whether you used forced induction or not. If so I am not surprised it blew. If not I am very surprised. If you are worried that PNA is reading your posts for warranty purposes then you should not have posted those videos. Changing bodywork does not account for this. The only thing that makes a gt3 faster is the motor. Maybe you should consider that before you do it again. Have fun.
