those look so much better than the zunsports, not at all ad-on-ish... do they also have them for the .1 model?

I'm planning to have mine installed on Monday. They seem to match the GT3RS top screens quite well.

For the mechanically challenged (i.e. - me!), would dealers install this for a fee? Or am I better off finding a local body shop to do the work?

Anyone else install one on a silver car? If so, did you prefer black or silver?

I lost a radiator this past Summer and I know I should do this but then I say.....hey what are the odds of this happening twice and don't bother.......maybe I'll consider it.........or maybe not!

Decisions....decisions!!

My 997.1 is Arctic Silver and I went with the black Rennline grills. It was my first real mod to the car and I found that the DIY instructions I found online made removing the bumper for install was quite easy. Having done it once now, I think I could do it in about ½ the time when I do it again.

I'd suggest the black grills to make them disappear into the shadows of the bumper. Mine seem nearly invisible until there are leaves stuck on it.

New Mod Rennline Front Grill

I made mine myself earlier this year. 997.1 25 bucks and two hours work. I did it without removing the front. The side grills are mounted flush to the horizontal bars with hidden zip ties and the center grill is mounted with zip tie and zip tie fastener clips. No drilling or other damage to the car.

I actually plastidipped mine black to resist the harsh environment better.

Edit: added added a pic of the side grille
