tire/wheel/flat related questions

After doing some reading and searching about flat tires etc. I have questions. Does any one have a link to a vid on using the Pcar flat fix system? I am also going to pick up a plug type repair kit.
I really have to look into the setup in the car before I need it.

Unrelated but do you need stud wheel guides to get wheels back on? My Benzes had the bolt type lugs (which I assume P has) but you could always line them up and then put the bolt through to get started. If I do need them were can I get a cheap set?

Porsche 1 800 told me that as long as the car has a warrenty or CPO they will tow to the nearest dealer no matter how far for free...
Thanks.

no, you dont "need" wheel stud guides. they certainly help but if youre careful (as you should be when installing ANYTHING on the car) and your back is strong, you dont need them.

The guides are not needed, though Porsche highly recommends them on cars with ceramic composite brakes to prevent damage to the brittle rotors when remounting the wheel (a bang on a steel rotor isn't an issue, no a ceramic rotor.. it is).

The guides are light and cheap.. easy to have on hand and does make putting the wheels on so much easier.
