Porsche dealer not creating DME reports?
Based on your profile you are in FL. Here is a thought. Why don't you call Champion, Braman, and Brumos dealerships. Ask for their service managers and pose the question to them. Then we can determine who is highly incompetent.
While your attachment appears to be a print screen and has some validity; as an out of state buyer your attachment would be worthless as it has no date or VIN number. It's not a DME printout that this thread is referencing.
A full DME printout like the attached is no longer possible from the newer version of equipment at the dealerships.

Just to confirm for any of those who may be unclear... I recently had a scan done at Moffitt Porsche in Bossier City on a car I was looking to buy, they could not print it which is consistent with what I've read here. When I got there after the work had been done I was told the car was good to go, I had to be persistent in getting them to run it again in front of me so I could take a picture of the screen.
Pretty alarming was the fact that I was told everything had been checked and it was good to go minus a tail light, but when I pressed to see the DME the tech had to go get the manager to find it on the software, and it even took him 25 minutes to find it. In other words.... they lied and did not check ****. Types 1's through 5's were present (only one 5, but lots of 3's and about fifty or so 4's), so I walked. The search continues.

Mark - it was a private seller, they did not CPO the car, although my specific wording was "do the same workup you would do to determine internally if you would CPO the car". Since they told me it was "good to go" I can only infer that they were implying yes, they would CPO it. Knowledge is power and this forum saved me potentially thousands.
This car was a CPO that I was interested in until I had them pull the report. FWIW this is a screen shot the salesman took with his phone so he could email it to himself and print it for me since the new 991 software wouldn't let them print it.
Dme
Interestingly enough, I just purchased a CPO'd '09 from Danbury Porsche on 4/21/12. They provided me with a DME report. I confirmed their numbers with my Durametric when I got to the dealership.

.Jerome and Tom at Champion's Motorsport shop are two very good dudes.
Brahman is good for $300 nitrogen tire fills, $1500 LoJack installs...
