997 Performance Package with ECU Upgrade/Comp Intake

I have been lurking here for a while, but just now registered. I have a 2005 C2S. I love this car and would like a little more performance out of it. I was looking at the Fabspeed 997 Performance Package with ECU Upgrade/Comp Intake package. I see the dyno chart they list. But my question is if there is any comparisons between this package and a stock car on a track, such as 1/4 mile times?

Don't believe the hype.

Power will come from high flow Cats
Also, if you want more performance look at a LWFW.

Maybe a dumb question, but what is LWFW? Lightweight Flywheel?

I appreciate the reply. So outside of the hi flow cats, there is not much extra hp to squeeze out of these engines outside of going the turbo or supercharger route? Neither of which I care to do.

Normally aspirated engines won't gain much. You can add headers, intake mufflers, and a flash, but you gains will be minimal beyond the cats. I had all of it on my C2S and on my GT3 I have only done cats...and unless I can reduce the weight of my car by losing the OEM mufflers and keeping sound down, it is all I will change.

You could add a LSD for better exit speed on the track, but you need to start pushing it harder before you will need one. If you want extra power trade your car in on a turbo.
