that's all I can think for now
While I agree with some of your items, I was about to ask why you didn't mention a tent and a fire starter kit for your camping trip. But then I saw you're in BC. Thankfully, I can't imagine a scenario where I need a jacket, extra clothing, or emergency water rations!

To make it worse, one time I drove up-island(vancouver island) and had a flat tire, pretty much, in the middle of nowhere. Luckily, I was 20-30mins away from a small town that had 4 tire shops in total and it was during a daytime. Fortunate enough, I was able to go home after a quick fix or it would be indeed a camping trip in a cold (5 degrees) raining day while my cellphone had absolutely no reception. After that, a good wind jacket that keeps me warm is a must in my trunk and of course some water so I still get to swallow my medication on time.

I certainly admire your preparedness. I like living where I do, but imagine that British Columbia is beautiful. Hopefully I'll be able to visit some day.

Go!

Granville island in downtown Vancouver has the best farmers market I've been to. Also if I owned a summer home it would be in Victoria.

You are welcome anytime. We have some nice & twisty roads here and they can be quite entertaining for passionate drivers. Unfortunately, due to the weather, the road surface isn't the best. I just hope my spine can take a few more years of those abuse.
