Glove compartment surprise ?!
#21
Seriously?
For two disks.
I burn MP3s to 8GB DVD blanks, so with one in the drive and 2 in the glove box, thats 24GB worth of MP3's... which covers whatever I'd want to listen to.
For the pen holder that's next to it, I put a nice Lamy 2000 in there. Though watch those clips, they are a bit fragile, the first set broke from trying to insert a cheap ballpoint without looking carefully.

Completely ridiculous, unnecessary and overpriced?
Yes.
Cool to have and love that I own and would recommend to fellow super ****-retentive porsche owner/enthusiasts?
also yes ...
Here it is:

Although this isn't my exact one - but it looks to be the same size (confirm if you order) - it also has a little 'shake' technology to bring the point our and retract...
**EDIT** that is the one I have - mine's in white (didn't see there were color options)

Yes they do - I believe Porsche Design makes it.

Now to find one in Altas gray...hmmm. I know they make the lighters in gray.

It's the standard (used for over 10 years) 911/Boxster storage holders. They work great and are traditionally in the dash.
#28
Get your priorities straight and screw the pen. That's where my 'on the road' tire gauge goes.
#29
I never liked the pen style gauges, I have a dial type. it's redundant anyhow as the car has tpms.
#30
But some of us are fortunate enough to not have tpms, so the pen can be a handy check.
