THE “VIGNETO RALLY” – THE SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY WINERY ROAD RALLY – JUNE 24, 2012
SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY – (June 24, 2012) – Business leaders in Southern New Jersey have partnered with Victorious Promotions LLC to present the “Vigneto Rally”, a Southern New Jersey Winery Exotic Car Road Rally to promote Southern New Jersey tourism and bring attention to our region’s growing wine industry.
There are now over 30 wineries in New Jersey. The wine industry in our region has matured and now produces many award winning wines.
The Vigneto Rally will bring the romance and excitement of similar road rallies with rich history from the Italian Countryside and the South of France. The rally will include many exotic sports cars from legendary manufactures Ferrari, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Porsche, Maserati, and others.
The Vigneto Rally will begin at the New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville with a driver’s meeting and a few laps around one of the park’s two race tracks behind the official pace car. New Jersey Motorsports Park General Manager, Brad Scott, is a strong advocate for both the local wine industry and Southern New Jersey tourism in general. He has scheduled the Motorsports Park official pace car to lead the rally as it tours Southern New Jersey.
Stephen DiDonato, Mayor of Hammonton, and Jim Donio, an advocate of Hammonton, are working with the rally. Mayor DiDonato will provide a police escort for the rally as it passes through Hammonton. The rally will drive through the center of Hammonton at a scheduled time so that spectators may see all the exotic cars and visit Hammonton’s many shops.
The rally will make its final stop at Renault Winery in Galloway by 5PM. Rally drivers will attend a reception and banquet dinner in the Renault’s “Grand Ballroom”. Renault is America’s longest operating vineyard and a perfect venue for the rally to end. Once at Renault, the rally cars will park in a reserved VIP area where they will be wiped down by professional detailers from Checkers Custom Cars and presented in the “Vigneto Rally Exotic Car Show”. The car show is open to the general public. Admission is free and refreshments will be available.
Rally partners FC Kerbeck Rolls Royce-Bentley-Aston Martin-Maserati-Lamborghini, Porsche of Atlantic City, and Mercedes Benz of Atlantic City, will be entering and driving exotic cars in the rally.
The Grand Marshal for the 2012 Vigneto Rally is Jeff Vasser, President of the Atlantic City Convention & Visitors Authority. The rally Chairman is Chuck Knutson of Victorious Promotions LLC.
Rally partners include, Cape Bank, New Jersey Motorsports Park, FC Kerbeck of Palmyra, Porsche of Atlantic City, Mercedes Benz of Atlantic City, Renault Winery, The Society Page Magazine, The Galloway Patriot newspaper, Lucy the Elephant, Checkers Custom Cars, The Atlantic City Seafood Festival, The Cigar Boxx, W.L. Many rallys are much more expensive than this and don't include nearly all this one includes. Look at all the rally includes for that low fee which covers two people. There is no profit in this. We are doing it just to build a great rally in our area.

Most 911(s) Excluded......
Why is this listed in this forum? If you click on the link provided and then on "Automobile List" within the site the list of cars eligible to participate in this rally excludes most 997 cars. It states as eligible "Porsche (all two seat sports cars)".
Really???
Really???

Are we really going to have this discussion? If you want to count that as a back seat then I guess you can. I only put "2 seaters" in there to exclude the new sedan and suv's. ALL 911's are exotic and welcome in the Vigneto Rally. If I could own a 911 from every year I would.

what i really dont understand is how this rally is $350 and no one makes a profit. i added up everything that's included and it's still way short of $350.
what good is building a great rally in the area that's so cost prohibitive it'll drive away most participants? the 9 cars you have going hardly makes a rally. have fun vikingatwar!

You don't have any idea what is in the gift baskets or what the banquet and open bar costs. Then figure in insurance, marketing, and other associated costs. It is easy to reach 350 per car which includes two people. In any event, if you can't afford it, don't do it. We have more than 9 cars. The page says, "here are a few" but I guess you would rather complain about somebody trying to put together a nice event for exotic car enthusiasts than to be helpful and positive. You go ahead and try setting up your own event with the partners we have. They expect a top level event. Not some guys meeting at the Hooters for beer.

lol judging by the all the responses (zero) you've gotten from your 9 posts promoting this rally, it should be a hell of a time!
personally, i would rather take my $350 and treat 4 of my friends to the paced track time at njmp and beers and wings at hooters afterwards than hang out at your top level (did not know chicken parm was top level ) event. sounds like you wouldnt want "commoners" like me there anyway. i'll start saving my pennies, practice drinking wine with my pinky in the air, and hopefully i can afford to make it to next year!
but i digress... have fun at your "rally" vikingatwar!

It just came to me. You don't own a car do you? I can not imagine an adult behaving so poorly simply because he was unable to afford something.
The rally is already a success based on the numbers and certainly does not need you.
The rally has been promoted on radio and with full page color ads in three newspapers as well as promoted by all partners and supporters.
I am sorry that you are so jealous of everyone else that you must lash out like you do. Please, if you see me at the track, introduce yourself.
