Free Porsche 996 Hardtop

My sister is moving to Florida and has been storing this hardtop of mine for many years. I understand it can be used for a 997 as well. It's Midnight Blue with cover and stand.

She lives in Clifton, NJ. Pick it up and it's yours.

That was very decent of you. I love mine. It's like having two cars. Two completely different personalities with and without the top . Owning a hardtop is like owning a cab. and a coupe.

Steve......maybe I should have kept it and painted it...hmmmmm.

Only kidding....I'm pretty old school and I've always had convertibles and always loved the look of soft tops....all the time...winter...summer and the few years I sis switch there's be a nice day and I'd be stuck with the dopey hard top on that I didn't like anyway.

Some guys love em' though and hopefully the guy that took it will.

My brother-in-law said something really funny last night when he was wheeling it out of his garage....he'd been storing it for me since 2001. I said "

it's great that I put it on some forums and someone took it in 5 minutes isn't it Pete"

He says...."Yeah....too bad you didn't do it 11 years ago" My sister ands I burst out laughing!

I know what you mean about it being all about the drop top. For the three months, or so, that I have the hardtop on it's like borrowing someone else's car. I've even had friends ask me if I got a new car. Also, since it takes all of 5 minutes to remove I don't mind it on in the winter and if we're going to have a great week, pull it off and go topless. Again, nice job of passing it on.
