Airbag light is on

The airbag dash light flashes then goes solid upon startup. A third party dealer left the key in the ignition, drained the battery, and then most dash lights came one. They replaced the battery before selling the car to me. All dash lights cleared, except for the airbag light.

Any way to reset the airbag dash light without a trip to the dealer?

Obviously if I can reset it and the light comes back, I'll take it to the dealer anyway due to a potential safety issue. I'm just trying to avoid an unnecessary trip if possible.

Thanks!

you can reset with a durametric pro, maybe someone has one in your area. otherwise, it's a trip to the stealership (or an indy who has the PIWIS tool or any of the knockoff systems).

Thanks. I see Softronic is running a group buy on Durametric right now too. I'm likely to jump in for a Pro version

Pulled the trigger on the group buy going with a pro version without adapter for older cars or extension cable. Today's the last day of the GB. Price was impressive!

Durametric Pro arrived and successfully reset the airbag light. Thank you!
