Rear PASM swap completed
Rear PASM swap completed
Rear install went smoothly, fronts will be completed next week after I get a tie rod end separator tool.
Leaking rear shock (started at 59k miles)

New shock and springs installed.

Custom sockets created by a local friend which made the job much easier. You can see the Porsche specific tool in the picture to the left of the custom sockets.

Install was pretty straight forward.

Nice work. Looks like you replaced with new struts. Where did you buy them? $?
Did you notice ride was suffering once shock started leaking. My mechanic was not too worried about sweating shocks in my car. Sounds right that you are replacing at 59k miles.

Ride was much worse and bouncy. The biggest indicator was the drivers side rear tire showing abnormal wear. I got a great a deal from a fellow member on a near new (less than 2k miles) 08' carrera s suspension.
I'm replacing everything, struts & springs on all four corners. I also noticed my end links have a lot of play so those will be replaced shortly.
