Anyone have the phone module and actually using it?

I have a GSM phone/sim card but don't understand exactly how it works. If I plug my sim card in do I essentially have a phone in the car???? Hands free etc.....? TIA

I had the phone module factory installed (option 666...no kidding). It works fantastically. The sound quality is the best I have heard from a handsfree unit not using a headset. Very crisp and clear sound. Phone calls automatically mute the stereo. Caller's voice comes from the passenger speakers to avoid feedback on the microphones mounted on the steering column. Most phone functions (dialed calls, phonebook, etc) can be accessed through the control stalk on the left. You have to have the module installed at factory or at dealership to use the SIM drawer. Highly recommended!

Until someone comes out with something better, this is what I'm using these days.

I was wondering if I should ditch the CD changer and use that input for a digital jukebox. Have you thought about that?
