Interior Detail Chemical

Mates,

What are you guys using to clean the dash board and plastic? So many brands out there, just wanted to narrow down the general consensus. I like the factory non shining look.

How about leather cleaner?

Any special cleaner you have to use to clean the soft top?

Just got my ride and in the mood to give it some extra love.

Thanks

Wipe down with a damp microfiber. Vinyl gets 303 Aerospace, leather gets Leatherique.

Lexol Vinylex for non-leather. Lexol leather conditioner/clean and/or Zymol leather treat is what I've been using on my cars for years. Spray on microfiber towel and wipe. Not on the surface. Vinylex leaves very, very little sheen (totally unlike armor all and other junk like that).

I used Vinylex on my soft top on a previous car for 10 years and it looked like new.

My basic black center console is really bad right now...
The paint is very easy to peel off, and I can easily scratch on the surface by my nails...

Thanks everyone, my problem is being able to identify leather from vinyl and the covered material. Porsche is so loaded with leather that I don't want to accidentally use vinyl cleaner on leather and vice versa, any tips for me?

Hope u all had a great 4th

If in doubt. The leather tastes sweeter.

Leatherique for leather and ****pit premium for non leather. Follow instructions carefully for each product as unintended consequences will occur if you don't. I've also had good results using Adams Super VRT on baseboard plastic parts and hood switches -- but use only a light film.

If there's stitching, then it's leather. Leather cleaner can alos be used on plastics and vinyl. So you cannot go wrong if you buy a quality leather cleaner.

Mine started to do the same thing, I ended up just painting it body color. Best mod ever.

No. You should use RaggTopp. It's generally recognized as the best.
