This morning i went to start the car 2006 c4s and i had a rought idle like the car was going to die then the check engine light came on turned the car off started again same thing , car drives fine only when its at idle it does that no power lost while im driving it , any help would be great before i take it in on Monday , thanks

 

What engine code did it throw?

 

FYI, I started mine the other day with the oil cap not properly seated and it ran like that....

 

Problem solved , removed MAF sensor cleaned it maf cleaner put back in waited about 15 min idles like it should .

 

These fricken things are so finicky.

Did you do anything to the car? Top it off with oil recently? Spirited driving? Driving in rain?

How many miles?
