I have bought a a retrofit rear parking system for my 997 C2S gen 2 cabriolet.

I understand that there is a wiring channel that runs from the rear passenger light inside the rear wing and up towards the rear roof chamber inside the car.

The question I have is how can I release the roof so that I can remove some of the carpet inside the roof storage box so that I can feed the wire to the buzzer inside the passenger compartment behind the rear seats?

Help required please?
