roelricardo is infamous around these parts
But I think that is not the issue the problem is on the description says:
Product Discriptions:
It is bid for a pair of Carbon Fiber Mirror Covers for 05-08 Porsche 911 987 997 S
Made of carbon fiber,
It covers over originals, you don't have to move factory ones.

If you decide you prefer the entire mirror housing covered in carbon fiber, you can pick up a new set for around $120.

well, they arrived and they are beautiful, yesterday I installed myself and it was very hard to do it, I start with a hair gun heating the mirror just the center, after a while i tried to pull the insertion without any progress, I used a fishing line to broke the glue, it was very hard until I broke the original insertion, my surprise was that is not glue is rubber, like wheel vulcanized very strong and hard to take it out, I had to broke the insertion all the way in pieces until I ended cleaning with solvents white gasoline the rubber but it was impossible to take everything out, so I live it like that and I think this will work to have a better grip the new CF insertions, so for any of you that intend to do this is hard work and but is possible, the thing that I was ungry destroying the originals I wanted to kept for other occasion.
