I was wondering what options there were available to incorporate satellite radio into the 997. I would prefer to stay away from an FM modulated kit. Any suggestions?

 

Does the 997 have an aux input like the 996 did? You should check with your dealer.

 

I still can't believe Porsche didn't integrate SAT radio in the 06 models. The last thing I want is an ugly second unit mounted on my dash....very low rent.

 

You could easily mount an XM commander in the sun visor. The thing is whether or not there is an aux input. RF modulation sucks and the FM transmitters are even worse. I believe it is a fiber optic system so it's probably impossible if there is no aux input. Poor thinking on Porsche's part... Does it at least have bluetooth capability?
