S vs non-S muffler size question

Hi guys, a newbie here...
This is a great forum and I really enjoy reading about all kinds of subjects here. I've been searching the forum about this question that I have but couldn't find answers.
Would gundo hacked muffler set from s model fit non-s model? I understand that diameter of the outlet pipe from the muffler is wider on S models but how about the inlet pipe? Even if they fit non-s model, would it cause any problems?

correct...the inlet pipe has the same diameter. i have a 997 c2 and used a set of c2s mufflers for my gundo hack. the exhaust tips are different and can not be used interchangeably

both of them will fit in to a car.
If you put S mufller the get the S tip
if you put non-S muffler get non-S tip.

mean there is nothing to do with a car rather than the tip.

You can put non-S muffler to S car and you will have to put non-S tip to the muffler.
for example.
