I sold my '06 Carrera 4S (with Sport Exhaust) to but a new 2011 Turbo S. Sold it here on this forum's sales page!

The 4S is a competent car and fun to drive. I truly enjoyed it. If there's one option to have, it's Sport Exhaust. It's a wonderful car though I always felt the car lacked the power and thrust that I really wanted but didn't think existed in something I could afford.

Then I drove a buddy's 2009 Turbo... and suddenly, I did not like my 4S anymore. I sold it within a year having only owned it for less than 2 years. It was like driving a dud after my day with the Turbo.

After driving my own Turbo S now for a year or so, the power is still intoxicating and in getting to 60 MPH in about 2.7 seconds, it is nearly twice as fast as a 4S (@4.5 seconds). You can be up to 130 MPH on the highway home within seconds! The power gives you butterflies in your stomach and the all wheel drive gives you incredible grip and stability. Throw it into Sport Plus and launch it and it is game over! Best car on the planet in my opinion.

My advice, buy a 4S and never drive a turbo. You'll be happy. Or buy a turbo and realize you could never drive an S or 4S again. The turbo's power is that explosive@!

I vote Turbo.
