nuetral can be engaged on the 991's by pulling the paddles together. is this also possible with our 997 with the upgraded paddle wheels steering wheel. has anybody tried it yet?

Yep. Tried it. No neutral. Wish it did though.

 

Maybe it can be programmed through the piwis? Wow that would be good.

 

This is one upgrade I would be excited to pay a lot of money for. It annoys me so much that you cannot put it in neutral with the paddles. I would even settle for getting rid of the gear selector shift lock just so I don't have to apply the break at low speeds to get it back into drive as I find myself using that quite often for neutral.

 

This is a wonderful feature with e-gear (Lamborghini), pull both paddles and it goes into neutral. Pull a single paddle and it finds the right gear. Difference between a manual and an automatic transmission.
