Advice on a 2006 911

Looking into buying a 2006 911 Carrera. It only has 24500 Miles on it. I submitted the VIN to Porsche to see what was done under warranty. The only major repair was to replace the IMS Barring Flange because it was leaking probably in 2008 at about 11,000 miles.

I'm not purchasing from a Porsche dealer so it's not CPO though I do plan to get it inspected at a Porsche dealer and purchase an extended warranty.

What do you think, should I steer clear and look for a CPO 911 since it already had IMS issues? Or should i proceed forward and purchase an aftermarket warranty?

Any help would be appreciated.
