The car is wrapped

I decided paint was too expensive, too permanent, would fundamentally damage the value of the car. So I wrapped it. Car as fashion statement. Don't know how long I'll leave it on, but it is a dramatic change from silver.

Apologies for the camera-phone quality...

Ive recently watched many you tube wraps, whats it look like in person? quality wise compared to paint? also when you take it off does it damage the original paint at all?

the car looks good

WOW - your car was silver? Hard to believe! Does it look like paint or can you tell it's a wrap?

Is that film the same stuff used on model airplanes? I think it is called Solar Film or something of that order and is applied with an iron and hot blowers.

Looks really good. Esp for a temp thing. I've always wondered... if you wrapped a car. Does it protect the paint? or does the wrap hurt the paint?

I think it looks pretty awesome. Kudos for going bold! It can be changed back to silver anyhow...
