997.2 Strange CEL

I just had the 997.2 GT3 bumper installed on my car. When I got the car back, I noticed a new CEL on the car. Restarted it, disconnected the battery, waited 10 mins, and restarted again, and the light is still there. There's loss of power and the car drives the same. I don't notice any loss of electrical function either, so I'm not sure what's going on here. Looking back in older threads, it seems like it's related to the front control module going out. I made an appt to see the dealer on Monday.

Any thoughts? I don't have a Durametric so can't pull up the codes.

forbes210 is infamous around these parts
Front control module could go bed because of electrostatic created by buffing your bumper and lights. Thats what happen to me. Dealer replaced the module but honestly it looks easy to do and probably could be done in about 30 min. Obviously stealer charged descent $$$.

I think that's the problem since I just had a new bumper put on the car.

After 2 days, they replaced the front control module and plugged back in the temp sensor (ambient). Everything is kosher now.
