Sweet. I almost got Guards Red on mine. But, I went w/ Arctic Silver/Black with almost the exact same specs as yours. I would love to see a pic of the red instrument cluster.

yep, sorry about that, it is sand beige. The car ended up being around $91,500

 

No Power Seats?

 

I passed on the power seats as well....I am really the only one driving the car and I can use the $1+K elsewehere. Are we the only two people on this board that did this?

 

I like the cobo except would do black carpet....(actually now they have new bi-color interior options and I think tan/blk is one of the three - gets you a black dash and parts of the door panel a la Ferrari interior)

 

I had a Boxster S without power seats and it caused countless headaches. Valet parkers always move the seat. Car wash guys also. Then you can't remember the exact position you like. G-d forbid someone changes the height! It takes weeks to get comfortable again.
I could not do it again. I had a Red/ Black 997 S ordered and delivered about a year ago with the BOSE system as the only option. The car came in at 81K. I went to the dealer and decided not to get it because I remembered what a hassle the standard seats are. At the time I placed the order I needed to keep the cost down as much as possible and figured I could deal with it again. A year later and I still don't have the car. Long story. Longer than this post! But theres a Basalt on Natural Brown Coupe "S" with power seats, Bose, thicker steering wheel, Sport chrono on the way in August.

Try to do your best and get the power seats. I don't think you will regret it. You might never give the car to Valet or you might wash it yourself but an eighty thousand dollar car should have power seats if a KIA spectra does. You know what I'm sayin?

I won't have a car without power seats or more particularly seat memory - agree with TheJudge, it can take a month to get them back if someone messes with them.

In any event, keep in mind that the adaptive sport seat option includes the power seat option. I have them and they are nice and super adjustable.
