fastm3 is infamous around these parts
Hey wolf, please let us know what the dealer discovered. I have the same exact issue. The coolant is below the low mark, but there are no obvious signs of a leak, i.e. nothing around the cap or on the ground. I have smelled some coolant when I open the hood after a long drive. No smoke at all out of the pipes, so hopefully nothing serious.....

those plastic tanks are somewhat prone to crack after about 4-5 years. Keep an eye on those puppies.

i'll go into more detail later this week, but it appears that they tested the pressure over the weekend and it lost 1 PSI. Apparently there was a slight crack somewhere and they needed to replace the piece and flush the coolant. I'll find out exactly what part was replaced and report back. So it wasn't the cap at this point. Thanks again for everyone's input.

In my case, a similarly slow leak of coolant, there was an o-ring at the water pump that was defective or mis-installed and caused a very slight drip, which I noticed by the coolant droplet hanging on the low point of the engine during an oil change.
