During my first time inspection and cleaning of the air filter and box, throttle body etc I found no screw which holds the air filter in place from the tab on the filter on my 997.2.. I called two dealers and no one had it in stock. Can I use a standard 4mm screw? The threads on the other one look pretty wide, almost like a wood screw. ?? Don t want to ruin the plastic box it screws into. Am I going to have to order this? I am over an hour from my dealer, glad I called as I would have thought they d have them around as it is a part you can loose during service.
