Hi.
Anybody knows if vortech v2 can lubricate direct from the oil of the engine or only with vortech oil?

 

I have the V2 version and it has a separate oil line, unlike the V1 version that uses oil from the engine. Thus, you will have to use the oil from Vortech for the S/C.

 

If i use direct the engine oil i will have any problem?

 

According to Vortech and VF-E, using non approved S/C oil will void your Vortech S/C warranty. As for engine oil ruining your S/C, not sure, but the consistency of the S/C lubricant is quite different than my Mobil 1 0w-40.

 

I ask the mechanic about this a and he told me that we can use the engine oil.
but i'm wondering we they dont use on the vortech v2 the engine oil and they use their oil?

 

My WAG is because Vortech knows what it is talking about. For some reason engine oil is unsuitable for use in their supercharger.
